I THINK THAT YOU have ignored several deserving candidates for Microwave Legend status:

1. Heinrich Hertz
2. Jagidis Chinder Bose
3. George Southworth

I believe that the idea of including current, or nearly current, candidates is a good idea, since history is continuously generated. Don't forget those who were on the spot in the early days.
