[Test & Measurement] PNA VNAs Add Embedded LO Capability Jack Browne | ED Online ID #16844 | September 18, 2007 Agilent Technologies has announced the availability of an embedded local oscillator (LO) measurement capability for its PNA Series of vector network analyzers (VNAs). This arms the VNAs with the ability to test frequency converters and mixers without having to directly access a common reference signal. Results for the embedded LO measurement capability essentially match those from phase locking two independent LO sources. On measurements performed on a Ka-band satellite communications frequency converter, for example, delay accuracy as small as 125 ps has been measured.
