Aeroflex has made available its Synthetic Mulifunction Adaptable Reconfigurable Test Environment [SMART^E(TM)] based on a truly synthetic test environment that includes hardware, software, test practices, and support. Based on the firm's fifth generation of synthetic instrumentation (SI) technology, the test system provides synthetic stimulus and analysis channels to 40 GHz with power settings from -90 to +10 dBm and a wide range of modulation capabilities, including AM, FM, pulse, and arbitrary modulation formats.
