Renaissance Electronics Corp. has developed a custom switch matrix tailored to WiMAX test applications from DC to 6 GHz. The multifunctional switch matrix offers two device-under-test (DUT) ports and six auxiliary ports that aid in the calibration of six corresponding instrument ports. It is supplied in a standard 19-inch, rack-mount housing that occupies two rack spaces (2U). The switch matrix is controlled remotely and automatically via GPIB. Renaissance also has capability to create working MEMS switch matrices from 2x2 up to 64x64 at frequency levels up to 3GHz. They displayed their working 8x8 model at last week's IEEE IMS MTT-s convention and expo last week in Atlanta. Very nice!!!
