Buckley Is Named Harris Fellow
RICHARD BUCKLEY has been named the 2009 recipient of the Harris Fellow Award, the highest recognition for engineering achievement at Harris Corp. Buckley, a Senior Scientist with the RF Communications division in Rochester, NY, is a 25-year veteran of Harris. He is being honored for his technical expertise, leadership skills, and continuous contributions toward achieving and sustaining Harris’ leadership position in the tactical radio market. Buckley is among the key technical contributors to the success of the Harris Falcon II and Falcon III multiband manpack radios.

Spectrum Control, Inc.—CHARLES S. MAHAN, JR. (Lieutenant General, US Army, Retired) has been appointed to the board of directors. Mahan had a distinguished 35-year military career with his final assignment as Chief of Logistics for the US Army.
Radio Frequency Systems (RFS)—JAY MARTIN has been appointed Broadcast Technical Sales Director-Americas; formerly held key roles with Dielectric Communications including Television Antenna Product Manager, VP of Broadcast Marketing, and VP of Sales.
AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation— MICHAEL HANNON has been promoted to Product Applications Engineer; formerly a test technician with the company. JERRY JOSEPH named Product Applications Specialist for transient and conducted immunity test systems; formerly worked for Bell Telephone Labs/Lucent Technologies/ Agere/LSI. ROB ROWE named Product Applications Specialist for transient and conducted immunity test systems; formerly a Biomedical Engineering Technologist and Field Applications Engineer for Bell Labs, Lucent, and Agere.
Emerson & Cuming Microwave Products, Inc.—DEVIN SULLIVAN has been appointed RFID Program Manager; formerly an outside sales representative for Topaz Engineering.
Peregrine Semiconductor Corp.—JAY BISKUPSKI has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. He replaces PHILIP CHAPMAN, who moves to a new executive role that will oversee the deployment of the company’s intellectual-property licensing strategy.

Park Electrochemical Corp.—PATRICK T. CROWLEY has been named VP of Research and Development. MARTY KENDRICK has been appointed VP of Operations.
